ACTIVITY 2 – International Mobility and Scientific Cooperation

Activity 2 comprises short-term international research mobility with the aim of strengthening the competencies of young researchers, developing international scientific cooperation, and increasing the applicability and commercialization potentialof research outcomes. Mobility includes the exchange of knowledge, transfer of advanced methodologies, and harmonization of research and laboratory procedures between partner institutions.

Through this activity, skills and capacities are developed in key scientific and technological areas of the project, including experimental immunotherapy, antibody production, biomarker research, advanced analytical methods such as flow cytometry and transcriptomics, single-cell technologies, gene editing using CRISPR/Cas, and the development of complex biological models such as 3D organoids and organotypic cultures.

The activity also includes the establishment and strengthening of cooperation with academic and industrial partners, thereby promoting an interdisciplinary approach, technology transfer, and the connection of research with industry needs. A flexible approach to partner selection enables adaptation to new scientific and technological challenges during the project.
Overall, the activity contributes to strengthening the research ecosystem, ‘strengthening institutional internationalisation, and developing innovation through the integration of knowledge and technologies.
